This isn't the Way

This has become my general lingo to distinguish matters of justice, self-defense and such from matters of "the ideal". The ideal IS the Way and it is therefore more than just an ideal. It is THE WAY. But writing about what that is - well, it kindof feels complicated to me right now. So - that's a different topic.

We however are Christians - trying to be apolitical in as far as our faith allows us to be.


I'm not advocating for Terrorism, BUT ...

I'm anti-fascist and even if it's morbid or out of place I find it a little bit funny to get used to being practically a terrorist in "certain places". So, do I support Anti-Fascistic Action? If it's Anti-Fascist (as in ... anti 'actual fascism'), for sure.
You could say that I do so with a passion. And given that I enjoy special protection I might as well make use of it to advocate for things I believe in that might be ... uh ... somewhat controversial. I'm standing in the fire.

I do so with a passion out of a sense of Righteousness. The more wickedness I see, the more triggered I get - and yea, it sucks and at times it's a bit of a balancing act to deal with the inability to act on it.
Eventually, as a social species, we do rely on one another. And so - yea. I think it's natural that ... [beeep blooop bgshhhhh].


Eschatology

"Eschatology concerns expectations of the end of present age, human history, or the world itself." (wikipedia)

Here's a title I can assume: "The Destroyer".
The Bible so tells us a story. It starts with the creation of this world - and ends somehow with a bunch of people being separated from another bunch of people. And it has been something I've been struggling with. And because so many people don't seem to be able to grasp what WE mean or understand by 'Fascism' - it may be helpful to view this issue through a Lens in which these Buzzwords do not exist. (And yea - the etymology isn't really all that great either so the more preferencial term would be Nazi. But apart from that it's more important that we understand what we mean when words.)

The Christian community or faith is vulnerable at its core due to the fundamentals of Christ's teachings. They are important. They are what makes us. But they don't help us against those that would prey on that vulnerability.

These days we observe an uprising in Anti-Christian values. They say they're Christian, but their fruits tell us otherwise. From that we may infer a certain insidiousness which should also be well documented at this point.

Parables as the one with the Weeds amidst the Crops suggests that - amongst other passages - that we need not expect being capable of changing their minds. This is all ... very problematic stuff however. And there's a variety of ways to interpret this. To separate this "final problem" from THE WAY ultimately, we however need to discard the Bible, or accept that in some way it's a part of it. An edge case maybe.


Consequences

Ultimately, this is a very dirty topic. Essentially it's like I'm rolling in the mud trying to somehow return to sanity. But ... I personally feel a lot less insane now. I mean, it drives me crazy that ALL that life is about right now, if you follow the news, constantly crushes the Christian idea; And adhering to it only increases their power.
The more I think about it however, the more I realize that the dirt has been there all along. I just wouldn't see it because to my common sense, that entire part of reality is abstract and distant. And it doesn't belong either.

On another note - the dirt is already upon us. I'm inclined to believe that if we're peaceful, there's nothing to worry about. But if only one committed a crime in our name ... it'd be as if this was where I'm at now. So ... yea. It's unfortunate.
It's difficult to be sure just how things would play out - but it seems like MAGA isn't very tolerant of anything that isn't MAGA. We could put it to the test. However, that reminds me: I get a feeling ever so often and it may be part of what has taken me down this path. This whole topic gets me scared of retaliation. But thinking of just peacefully assembling - I also get this feeling. From Sabotage to Terrorism - we'd have to expect all of it. Just look at the early history of the Mormon Church. Or the OG community.

So - what's left is the fear that we might be pushing people away. But we'd also push people away if we were sitting ducks waiting to get slaughtered. So, ... put the Light on a pedestal so people who have eyes to see may see. I mean, yea. The way is the way. But it may ultimately be helpful if we were able to project strength. Well, isn't that like ... a catch-22?

So, to my own spiritual ecosystem there's these dead-ends everywhere. It's either: Do or Die - no matter how I flip it.


Suicide

Uhm ... don't? I mean ... the end is in sight ... and ... if I had to guess I'd say you're worth more to us alive than unalived.
I mean, I can't tell you what to do, but ... there is, for me, a lot wrong with the idea of self-sacrifice. I'm not going to ask anyone to become a Martyr. And it'd be kind of sad ... to have anyone as such.
Depression can be managed. And things aren't necessarily as bleak as they might seem; Though ... I suppose what we need is a Hearth of sorts. Light. For once. From my perspective, there's also always another mountain to climb. And if you stop looking for an end, and start looking for a way ... things may already change. Uhm ... a "trick" of sorts is to imagine like ... the peak of a mountain. Like ... a road-bump. It's like ... things get more difficult as you approach it - but then all it takes is that little push to overcome. Sometimes it's a matter of ... trying something different. Making it over just to see what's on the other side. Maybe it'll be just more of the same - but the next time things will be difficult you can look back and see how far you've come. Even if it's just small in the grand scheme of things. The grand scheme of things is kind of unimportant here - because You're the Grand scheme of things in that frame.

And yea - you're not supposed to 'turn violent' or 'fantasize of murder' when on that path; However - on and off I'd see things or be led through figments that'd have me fantasize of murder. Well - I wouldn't call it murder as much as I'd call it a public execution, but uh ... whatever.


The Target

MAGA wants to tell us that we can't possibly tell or be sure that they're fascists because by some silly trick they can write up a piece that declares us as the fascists. And I suppose that's the actual truth behind the "the Terms are overused and don't mean anything" defense. We can write up opinion pieces that play with semantics - we can write opinion pieces to reflect on bad conditions, hold ourselves accountable. Everything can be fascist. And the goal of the exercise would be to self-correct. And the reason we're not talking about SJW's versus Anti-SJWs anymore is because such self-correction has happened. Which did however leave us with this strange divide.

Today it's easier however. If you put on that red hat ... you tell us that you support what is undeniably a fascist regime. And if you're a supporter of a fascist regime ... well ... you need to be dealt with. It's basically part of my responsibilities to see to that. When I have a say, it's already harvest. And when it's harvest, the weeds will get burned!

If you believe that this ought to be the work of angels ... that's fine with me. I don't really know - but to see that work as an inevitability does also make sense.

How to manage that work ... well. That yet again widens the range of possibilities. Which is why ... yea ... this whole Terrorism concept is mostly just theoretical. To somehow ... look at the world through that lens maybe. But that's then a matter of what we'd do as a WHOLE - and that's a democratic question.
