Well - I've been all over the place. You can sort of glance how I got from where I was to where I am from the docs. So, ultimately the project is taking a somewhat new direction - but personally I feel drawn to somewhere else entirely. So, what's up next - I'm not sure. In essence you'ge got the tools - and when things are rolling there's no way I could really catch up. So ... there goes that.


Introducing: CLX a.k.a. Crystals Linux, alternative Flash Root, Meta Flash ... whatever. The 'de facto' development box for Crystals. So, to have a Linux environment that is entirely dedicated to Crystals without any bothersome interference with any desktop.

Parallel to that the 'Flash Vault'. Primarily an auxiliary storage vault (externalizing "data weight", transfer, dirty backups) that seconds as an iso root. In my case I want to use it to maybe one day install gentoo on it; And once it works I can upgrade my system to that. Also it comes with a 25 GB volume that ... NixOS wants - or the 25 want NixOS ... hard to say. We'll see what it can do.


What else is there. ...

Anyway ... to make it a little easier:
the Root Package contains some files referred to in 'clx_setup'. It comes with the bits and bolts to get the thing to where it needs to be; And I suppose you'll figure the rest out should you want to.
