Realities of Variety

To Click or not to Click - vol. 2

This article here is technically a response to an item of concern I've whitness regarding the video mentioned in the previous article; And the over-arching question is really that of 'objective good/bad'. If you've following me for enough, or, well - it shouldn't be too far away until you get those ... "issues" ... like, that good is relative to how you wanna take it - that these things are "subjective" - such as that killing can be good, or rape, or hurting someone. Thus switching over to call everything 'subjective' is however a bit too far.

Well yea - it remains right that certain things once generalized cannot be 'fairly asessed' - and for what can be - its really just trivia or basics; Absolutes. I mean ... it depends I guess. Yea yea, and doesn't that beat my point? It depends ... I guess. This 'it depends' - lets call it a 'slice' - or - "the Samurai Sword of Dependency". Or - the kitchen knife of dependency. See - you can chop down a carrot and not hurt yourself; Or you go straight for the end - including your fingers. The one thing is efficient and looks cool; If you got that skill; The other thing you rather avoid. Now, the problem is that we don't have a word to make this 'objectively comprehensive'. But objectivity and subjectivity are at some points only words that avoid that word to get pronounced or even shaped; While at some point it may have even been 'objectivity'. Argh, to be honest - this whole objective vs subjective nonesnese messes with my head. Yet I found myself agreeing to subjectivity and all that it entails - including all that it entails against objectivity; But that is still from taking the knife straight to the end. Which you got to do if you're an Atheist by the way. So I came to learn all about "how to communicate with Atheists" - eventually - or at least how to vaguely understand what they are saying - and to understand this subjectivity I guess we got to start by asking: "How do you know/can be sure about what exists?". It may sound silly - but this question is basically aimed at helping you empty your mind, free yourself from prejudice - and to be fucking real about it; Answering the question! Starting to do so you may end up realizing, that well, "fuuuuck!!!!" ... how do you know that Smartphones don't grow on trees?

Ish. Kindof. I might not be the right person to explain that to you - as I noticed. I mean - from just listening and thinking and responding I dig the whole thing - I'm sure - where saying 'subjective' to something is like saying 'you can't be sure about it'. In other words: Potential Bogus.
But the more I write about it, the more my own head kindof tries to free itself from these words - so, forgive me.

Anyhow - all this is good stuff; As far as my "understanding Atheists" side is concerned ... aaand, there is a ... well, "subjective" bit more to that. I mean, we'll be getting into it anyhow - as this is all about variety and the intersubjectivity between the therefrom emerging entities, families, branches, types, whatever.
So - to communicate with each other, coming from different backgrounds, we have to sortof understand the other ones way of thinking; And eventually we get to the point where we can wrap things together. So - to take it in advance: Culture is the base of an objective ethical code. Cultures divide where they disagree. This can either mean complete separation or partial separation. Partial separation is a matter of diversification - which leads back to variety but not isolated cells. Not once done right however - which is where we're back at my concept of Utopia/Zion.

For the most part you shouldn't be too concerned about the details - as I'm sure that in time ... you'll understand what I mean by that!

Hum, well, that was a short one!
