Mormonism abreviated

The first thing that matters to me is 'the Priesthood' - though, the first important piece might be 3 Nephi 11 (LDS count) - a.k.a. the appearance of Christ amongst the Nephites or more specifically: The Doctrine of Christ.

This Doctrine refers to an 'authority' that is required to Baptize.

My Testimony tells me that the Church is true, but the vision I had along with that tells me that only in about a third of it is actually true. However - I now believe that what substanciates the Mormon Churches claim to be 'the true Church' is a matter of the Priesthood - as any other of their positions couldn't really hold their own.

And to answer the questions that arise from this condition - there's "the Strange Act" (D&C 95:4, 101:95)

"That I may proceed to bring to pass my act, my strange act, and perform my work, my strange work, that men may discern between the righteous and the wicked, saith your God."
