Spinning and Painting - of narratives and images

So ... I was watching a video ...

... and then it struck me. Now - what exactly ... I'll get to later. But, in as far as Joe Rogan is ... in a sense ... to me ... subject to an ongoing case study - we might say ... I wanna linger a bit on the matter or how to call it.

So, something struck me - and that basically corresponds to a narrative. What follows however, is that I have to think about what if the narrative got reversed. And what I get from that, is a better idea of what parts of the narrative to focus on. I mean, with conspiracy minded people it's often so, that the matter of presenting a narrative, or the matter of having an agenda, of having goals and ambitions - is often enough sufficient cause for being upset. And in order to make that case, they - well - resort to spinning a narrative, based on their own agenda - or so: goals and ambitions. And it is also, I think, why it's so annoying to talk to those people. Because the concept of common grounds is like ... not real unless it happens in their narrative.

Now, the thing that struck me - it does kindof touch on the same subject matter.
So - what we see in this video, are instances of Joe Rogan providing a narrative. Now - I personally don't really care all that much about what narratives that are. I more so compare them to other narratives I know of - and subsequently relate to some kind of average accordingly.
So for instance ... would I then write of how "people" put a lot of effort into spinning an anti capitalistic narrative. There sure are instances of that in this video also (12+ minutes). But while doing so, they somehow fail to see the anti-capitalistic plot point they're presenting - because what they're focused on is something else - as in this case ... how everything anyone did to combat COVID was utter nonsense.

And there's something nefarious about it. So, these narratives that are being spun - they basically attempt to paint a picture. A picture of the world, of reality, economy (if you wanna torture yourself:
) - and the goal is to basically decorate a proposed right thing to do, or right position to hold - so that if you disagree, you are essentially judged by the framing of the drawn picture. That's basically like how ... they'll suggest to you, that if you're vaccinated you're in support of big pharma. Though, evidently, if you need medicine there isn't really a 'small pharma' you could support alternatively. Other than ... well ... homeopathy and crystal healing and stuff like that, I suppose.

And so, for context, thinking about it led me to a conclusion as to how to just generally position myself in response to those issues. Part 1 is to highlight the "drawing a picture" part as done already - followed by part 2 - which is that I have my own picture ... and in that regard what I think is decorated as the right thing to do.
And what that would be - I suppose can be summed up as Gnosticism ... or "Socialism" if you so will.

But obviously the point then gets to be that ... people need to be basically encouraged to be smart. As by re-enforcement. Because ... it feels good when you're told that you're smart or had a tough time and stuff like that. But we on the left barely do that. Which is weird because allegedly we're the ones handing out the participation trophy's. XD
Uhm ... I mean - another point in that video is that tweet (around 2:40) - and so one thing that Joe will do, is highlight how kind of a person he is. And in response to that tweet - highlight how uncharitable the view of the person who wrote it is. And sure - on average, we ... on the left ... do have a very uncharitable view of "those on the right". And here too ... we don't put a lot of emphasis on how good of a person you are by being on the left. It's like ... more of a stressful thing to be ... sane ... in this day and age.

And yea - thinking that we're sane, by how polarized things are, automatically means that the other side is insane. So much for charitability.

Now, either you understood what I was getting at here or not.
So - sure do I have a picture to draw and a narrative to spin. Or did. Generally, that one's called "the Gospel". "The Decorated path" being called "Salvation". basically. It has little to do with vaccines and covid and all that - but that's maybe also ... the real issue. Ultimately. For - by walking in the footsteps of Christ, focusing my precious time on the important things - as towards a goal, let it be Utopia - I have an agenda, a vision, ambitions and all that - and ... as a narrative tries to get me off that path and towards and into questionable activities and convictions - I deem myself safer on the solid rock ... that is Christ ... rather than the sand ... that is ... a questionably constructed understanding of reality.
