Well ... first of all, I'm afraid this might not make a lot of sense at first. For when it comes to the matter of
ceasing the means of production; And in that sense the matter of what can and can't be done; The first problem that
occurs to me is one of organization - and logistics - and that in the abstract. I mean, the ceasing itself wouldn't
be the issue. The ceasing of all critical components and from there on maintaining their functions and purpose in the
supply chain - that's a whole different story.
Also the matter of ceasing the means, or any means, is there then itself a problem of means. As in: Which means to
which end?
So would I at first also not really speak of the ceasing of the means - but a hypothetical order of things that does
however succumb to the same issues. Sort of. Which is ... however ... actually a good thing. It might not appear to be
connected - but here at least the means of acting work towards the more ultimate goal.
So - to draw you a picture: Let's at first say, that we all came together. It's an abstract hypothetical at first -
as we might not even have the means to really do that. Who is 'we all'? And where might we come together? Yet moving
this abstract hypothetical into the objective concrete would leave us with some kind of local congregation. We might
as first choose some convention center we could afford and set up a meeting. Some people might have to fly in - and
at that point, ceasing the means of production wouldn't really be a reasonable concern. Nor any kind of new hypothetical
order - other than perhaps some rudimentary organization surrounding aspects of outreach and community. Which might
just be the "good old classic Christian lame-ities", but well. Some really dig that shit.
And sure - we might declare Street Fighter to some kind of national sport and other weird things that make sense to us
in this pitiful state concerning the big picture, but well ... whatever makes sense.
It might even be a gross exaggeration to assume that we might be able to handle this - well, depending on what we think
of in terms of 'rudimentary organization'. Maintaining connections ... might be all we're capable of at first. For,
while the whole thing is a numbers game, the first critical quality of these numbers are the individual minds. I like
to think of it so, that as the numbers grow - the likelihood for "fuses to light" increases. Well, the first one might
be to move away from one convention center towards multiple. Down towards being more or less forced to maintain local
communities. And that might not be possible until someone, here and there, has the means to make it a reality. Alongside
the numerical support. Supposing we had a real reason to congregate in the first place.
And that is it. How to cease the means of production.
So - this new hypothetical order I'm thinking of - it is first a concern of what the local means are and what infrastructure
and logistical links come with it. So right away there's a local domain and global domain of things. Along these lines we
might establish some military concept, starting with some kind of Homeland Security up to a more unified sense of it all.
And it all just remains an idea, until things become practical. I mean, imagine we're at first just ... keyboard warriors
and individual little drones here and there without any real means of doing much - there just were no reasonable way to
be ceasing anything. We might at that point feel encouraged to work towards it - to get more people on board, folks perhaps
with more practical know how or whatever - but I'd say that would remain to be awkward - as the impetus were too hypothetical
and the goal yet beyond our reach.
We might also face the opposite problem. That somehow we might consist of a majority of capital owners, but - perhaps without
the necessary logistical ties or much of a labor force. Or we might be a majority of criminals that are therefore somewhat
reluctant to do the congregating. I mean, Supermafia sounds awesome, but ... not like ... in a way that inspires confidence
here. At any rate - what's insufficient at first should at some point find what it needs to not be insufficient anymore.
And yea, eventually we could move from dealing with what we have on to dealing with what we want.
Now I'd love to get high and dream of what it might be ... though at first I think we should increase the odds of overwhelming
optimism. Because ... hmm. I mean, I like - as people do - to joke that I'm planning on taking over the world
but I'm afraid I might actually be serious! (Narf!)
