Freestyle | Because nothing

After writing the previous things, I was left with that ... well ... maybe it wasn't really a feeling, but ... let's call it an impression, that I should clarify something. That thing wasn't really on my mind - and to be fair ... whenever that thing would be on my mind, I might come off as somewhat petty.

Or however to put it. I mean, it sure is a conundrum.

There's something very oxymoronic or paradoxical about it. I mean ... this phrase, to not underestimate the enemy, is on my mind for a very particular reason. Like so, my mind has developed a ... we might call it: An understanding ... of this enemy; And that understanding makes it rather easy to underestimate them.
In a sense we can see that in policial commentary concerning the MAGA douche. It's easy to fall for the moronic MAGA appearances - and yet the symptoms have gotten worse and worse.

It is sure a very baffling phenomenon. And an observer might be tasked to solve one particular riddle: Is it all but a very fucked up co-incidence? Or was it all a very well thought out plan?

And like so, I question that 'understanding' that I allegedly have.
Regardless, I think for starters ... we should distinguish between Intelligence and Wisdom. Or in the inverse: Stupidity and Foolishness. It is said ... by me for once ... that Intelligence is no foolproof protection against foolishness. I mean, intelligence doesn't guarantee that you understand all the truths, or only truths. That intelligence is a percentage of how well you can magically differentiate between fact and fiction. And once we get into the philosophical and ideological ... the only empiricism that I can think of involves some degree of superstition. Some belief in Karma. Speaking of "the lessons of History" for instance.
Well, that superstition can in deed be rationalized away. But then again one is tasked to consider matter of ethics and morality. Or discard them, perhaps, in some ... form of hubris to attain a greater degree of 'objectivity' or 'rationality'.

When all one has is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. When one abandons the hammer for a screwdriver and fails to realize the difference, everything starts looking like a screw. And they are much more difficult to "drive in", depending on what you got. Certainly, to people with hammers, screws would be inventions of the devil.

So, there is this thing. This thing that generally starts out as an utterance. An observation perhaps. Ideas such as ... how benevolence is a weakness. That one must take advantage to not be taken advantage of. On the higher echelons of "intellect" the dichotomy is further between activity and passivity. Where when we might sound too much like we embrace Karma or Fate, the more rational person would speak of "defying the God's" or some such crap.

And yea. That's the proverbial screwdriver. But God has powertools; So ... that's my 5 cents to it. And as we 'wisen up' to that, sotospeak, the story is no longer about who's the smartest; But yet again: What to do with our smarts.
Because ... if one has all the power and resources of the world - what should one do with it? Defy God ... or work towards a better tomorrow?

And like it is a lot easier to destroy than to build, it is also a lot easier to ignore the obstacles to an idea; As opposed to condending with them.

A parable of sorts to that on my mind ocurred to me when playing Minecraft once. I'm very much a nature laving person. When I see a site - I envision my domain as hewn into the rocks, maybe pertruding from it, though I generally wish to preserve as much of the landscape as I can.
The opposite to that would be someone who'd start by bulldozing an area to then reshape it in their own image.

And yea. There is ... merit to that for sure. But it sure is a lot more challenging to stick to imposed outlines - than it is to just ignore them.

In reality also. If you just wanted to bulldoze a stretch of land to plant some parking lot upon it ... you might be in for an unpleasant awakening once it turns out that the terrain is a lot more complicated than it would be in Minecraft. Like so you might end up building on sand.

Naturally, as a gnosticist, the entire situation could be a lot easier for me. I do believe in the supernatural. And that's that. But also ... I understand that the supernatural isn't ... a vending machine, people might say. The point is, that someone who truly believes in the supernatural must understand that it is a thing on its own. It cannot be invented, it must be explored. Like so, if you want to call yourself a Christian(/Muslim/Jew) and wiggle the "But God" finger at people, be sure to first understand Him yourself!

So, if you've read my book - cool. And until then or just in general I try to ... stick to common sense. Give or take.

So, when I assign intellectually demeaning terms to individuals, I don't mean to call them 'Idiots' - as in "unintelligent" or "cognitively challenged". That'd be unfair. I mean to call them 'fools'. And they might be the smartest, most intelligent person in any room on earth, but a fool is a fool.

And what greater fool could there be, but the Antichrist himself - "assuming" they're human?

The thing about foolishness is, that at a certain point it's just tragic. And the irony of it all is that they might be well aware of the tragedy; But lean into it nonetheless.
And at that point - or somewhere around there - I can also feel neither pity nor sympathy for any of their intellectual diarrhea.

At some point they just turn into garbage to me.

As for my understanding ... it's probably utterly not helpful. I mean, in some sense I would call him a one-trick pony. But that one-trick encompasses a great many things; Enough so that some people might be thrown off by their range of tricks. So instead ... with that on mind ... I'd say: They're a one-trick pony if being an asshole were a trick.

I mean, I've been exposed to things. Theatre going on in my head. Vibes, impressions, vague narratives - all consolidated by real-life events. Which is why the Drumpf guy was ... immediately "the guy" to my mind. The bad one, that is. How, what, why? I don't know and I don't care!
To be real.

Starting with the whole "triggering the Libs" narrative, it all made sense and yet I couldn't know what's next. Well, if you're asking for the details that is. If we're ignoring the fact that we might be able to stop it, that is. But alas, in the same vein I'm also convinced that they failed. They underestimated a few things. And ever since they've been chipping away at a mountain that only seems to grow.
And that's the secret ingredient. Or even more so: Part of the plan. Whatever degree of Divine intervention plays a role in all that, the key thing is that divine intervention alone isn't what God wants. We might put it as: He tries to shape it in our image. Like, we are only worthy of it in as far as we're worthy of it. And that there is a real threat ... isn't only to scare us into compliance or such. It's a simple matter of fact. It is us. The worse of us. It is what is or will be if we suck. It is ... those that suck.
I mean ... I believe there comes a moment in one's life where they make a decision. It might be absolutely benign and utterly inconsequential - except to God. And based on it - He would count you amongst these or amongst those. Either protecting you from certain temptations, or not.

Either way, you'd have to deal with the aftermath. Being amongst those that He didn't protect; Or we might say: Those that don't bear the mark of God; Something something redemption.
I mean, I don't know. It is written that all those that accepted the Mark of the Beast are effectively lost. And maybe that is just what it is, for better and not for worse. Until one day maybe they might get another shot at it. Redemption. But ... not this time, perhaps. For possibly good reason.
I mean, I like to think that these things aren't set in stone - that redemption is always possible. Such the Bible speaks: And if your sins are as crimson as blood ... or something to that effect ... they shall be as white as wool or snow ... something to that effect.

But so, is there a point in trying to preach to them. The scriptures are mostly negative about it.
And so, we might have to look away from sinners that cannot be forgiven. And always consider ... that they exist and ... they probably wouldn't want us to take away their passtime pleasures.
Though I'm pretty sure that everyone else ... really wants to do so.

Even people who think Space-Lasers cause those hurricanes.
I mean, the narrative checks out: Libs say: "Do as we say or Climate Change" - and then Climate Change happens. Co-incidence? "I think not!". And, to add insult to injury: A lot of people just act as if this was a new thing; And not something that scientists have been talking about for decades now.

Uhm yea. I have to cut this short. I might have weed by friday - and then I'll probably want some peace and quiet ... so, we'll see what might bother me until then. Or ... whatever.
