Interest...ing (I'm probably just crazy)

So, I had a though yesterday - or this morning - while trying to sleep. Something was like pushing me to get up and write about it, but I couldn't be arsed. But then again ... God know me ... and I was like ... [sigh] ... and then again like ... "nope!". And I wondered: "Can I call in sick?". And then something happened. I felt hugged. And it was then that I realized ... I never felt this before!

So - all in all the varying peculiarities of God should be an interesting Topic. At least - the last few ... weeks or month ... it's become an issue. Like ... when God doesn't "work" (as in: to function) as He used to. But that's basically just par for the course. God has a talent for being annoying or aggrovating. Though I'd argue that it's usually just ... in our head. All it takes is some degree of stress ... and then a curve ball from up high and everything seems to go sideways.

But also ... how I write about Him ... has thereby become a yellow flag for me. Like, yea. I'm sure I at least mentioned it at some point before, but it'd be easy for me to naively talk about my relationship with God and how awesome He is ... and leave everyone shocked and ready to call like ... Child Protective Services or something like that, ready to press abuse charges and what not.

But that's not what's been on my mind.
There were a variety of things on my mind - as per usual - jumping from one thing to the next - and ... one thing that stuck was to write about Interest. The financial type. The thing the Bible says we should not take. So, we should loan out for free - and essentially not even care whether we get it back or not. And it might be these kinds of things that give Christianity or Religion at large this aura of ... a fairy tale for the poor man to tell themselves that everything will be fine while the rich and mighty couldn't care less about any of it - outside of opportunities to further bolster their pockets, or keep the population at ease.

But so - what I had to ask myself is: OK, how hard would it be for us 'at large' ... to follow those rules? Like ... in all seriousness: How could you claim to be a Christian nation ... if you can't ... live by it yet?

So yea, yet again ... we're talking about "Communism". Not the kind where we're cool with a Dictator because "reasons" and "trust me bro" - you know, the kind that isn't 'actual' communism AND has ... so they say ... never worked before. The other kind ... is still a utopic dream - and has never worked before because ... I don't know. Well, I mean ... it's semantics. If we define what I mean by ... however to call it ... as ... pooling resources for common wealth projects, social and financial solidarity, rules and regulations to protect the individual from ... [that's a whole separate topic] ... but ... government overreach on the one and governmental neglect on the other ... and such ... it certainly has worked before because that's how things have always worked before - like when the whole concept of money or financial stability wasn't like ... "vibin with the times".
And yea. Nowadays there probably are a lot of places where that's still the case - but us who do well ... why would we care? "We're stable! Pull yourself up by your bootstraps" - and so we're dragging them along ... sort of ... having them essentially struggle for what would or "should" be unattainable.

But however to put it then ... that led to something else, over short or long:

MMAGAGA

"Make MAGA Great Again" is the motto here.
Because, it's clear - and evident - that what those people want is ... noble, good, just, right, reasonable, etc. - at least we can spin it that way - except they then go and do the opposite anyway because ... reasons.
To me so, there seems to be a huge psy-op going on - and ... I'm sure it's difficult to imagine - and even more so to perhaps even just have hopes for proving it. But if like 90% of the driving force behind it are propaganda bots active on the interwebs ... building up towards it over the years ... it's not THAT wild.
The thing is ... like in Men in Black - where they buy these bullshit tabloids because some of those stories are actually legit. If you know what you're looking for. Like ... fake news. OMG! I have become a believer. There definitely is a lot of "fake news" out there - though, perhaps not 'fake news' per se - but ... still manipulative, thus essentially propaganda. Our crazies here in germany thereby use the word "Schlafschaf" - which roughly translates into "sleeping sheep" - thus ... "Sheeple" or how to write it. All mixed in with wild allegations of how there's this huge conspiracy going on. Sure, fine! But then they go on and blame ... everyone but those actually responsible for it.
We then think they're idiots - because the context they provide is utter nonsense - and don't get to consider that in essence they're still right.

I guess it's most evident here right now - where, following what last I wrote ... the whole thing that the MAGgAts are pulling - the whole drama around fake news and inaccessible science bla and crazy lefties and what have you ... all that is I'd argue fine enough. And with that attitude I also started my whole ... "political career" if we wanna call it that. And I still have it in me. But I've gotten burned. I realized, and that was confirmed over and over again in the thereafter, that there's no point in giving them that courtesy. At least the driving voices seem to be well aware of the fact that that would be counter to their agenda - thus the bullshit margin has to be pushed further.

And it also seems like ... if people who don't actually present any meaningful political agenda outside of catering to the most uneducated in the most anti factual way possible get voted into power - how should they feel about it? What would we expect them to do? And that I think is the simplest way to present it. If all you want are results, without an idea of how to get them - and things then don't go as intended although the people you voted for have been in charge - it's like ... still easier to blame others. And while the rest is like: "What did you expect?", they're like ... [fingers in ear]"Lalala".

So, there's a compromise. Instead of just one-sidedly bashing right-wingers/conservatives - while sure there are offenders on the left also - let's just make it Biblical again. Y'all are cooked! To put it politely. "Y'all are fucked!" to put it in english - and "all of you can go FUCK yourself" to get the point accross. AAAAAALL of you. Except for those that don't wanna. Here the matter isn't clear - but, if you don't wanna be fucked - you can very easily unfuck yourself. Left-winger OR right-winger.

The reason why I still tend to bash on the consies is ... yea, something something pronouns, respect and human decency. That's like ... hmmm ... the existent bias.

Something like "they're lieing to you" should be a more present statement - probably with obvious hints at the proper context.
Maybe it helps. Like, just plain and simple ... what's under the line. No arguments, no explanation, just facts.

From Germany

I heard on the radio today, that 2/3 or more (???) of the electricity we use here is produced by renewables! YES! Let's GOOOO! Fuck you FASCISTS!

And yes! That's an important thing. Obviously ... it's possible. Things that produce electricity can be used to produce electricity. The problem is scale - though, since when would a Capitalist/"Doer"/'Entrepreneur'/person who makes the tough decisions scare back from thinking big? 'We can do it!' - get REKT!

Like - propaganda on social media is like out of control! Because it's not ... obvious. People looking for ways to identify bots ... yea, cool ... but ... then it's also just ... free research for them to improve their bullshit.
Like, early last month there have been these posts about ... how we've been living in an echo chamber. And I'm sure some people read those things and agreed. Like I at first was inclined to. But ... then again ... no! What the fuck! If the majority of people is just THAT stupid - how is that on us? Should we've seen it coming? Did we see it coming? At worse we just weren't willing to believe it because ... yea, what would we do? At that point it's like ... yea ... what? And also - if they were manipulating the polls by enough identifying as democrats that would however vote republican ... there's even less we could have done about it!

Also a post I've seen going around is this whole "There's no such thing as a wealthy low energy nation" - to then slap on some comment on how our German politics are crazy when it comes to that. Well, obviously just propaganda to boost opposition to renewables, throw some shit against those that sport renewables (for good measure and anyway), possibly increasing the shit-show factor of everything energy related for the foreseeable future while everyone's "So smart" about it's like ... a nightmare in and of itself.

Which is ... where German politics comes in. Because ... as a colleague of mine concluded today: We, or our politicians, are like specialists at ... constructing the worse possible laws in order to address our grievances. It's like ... it has to be really bad for them to ... get their shit together and do something approximately half-decent.

At least that's my impression and perhaps it's also overly simplified. I'm utterly convinced - but I'm also not sure that politicians deserve that kind of respect but I'm sure at least some do - that doing reasonable politics these days is ... yea ... another nightmare in and of itself.
For may or may not be obvious reasons.

So, some while ago I wanted to write about Digitalization really badly - and then only got around to briefly skim it. Which may be par for my scatterbrained course. But anyway ... . I'm not a fan of ... "it". Or more to the point: There was always something rubbing me wrong about all those voices saying that we're behind and we need to do more on that front. And I hope that all the IT peeps can back me up on this, but: It most certainly isn't that simple!
More to the point: People who think that it is ... probably make up like 90% of the stress that IT people have!
And every feature deprived software update, every downgrade, ever aggravating "super new and awesome addition that does absolutely nothing for anyone but piss them off" - was probably decided by a non-IT person who thought that maybe they should appear as though they're worth their money again ... for a change.

I mean, so - digitalization. What and how? To start with. The how then becomes a rabbit hole of further how's - and not all of them are I.T. related. Like, how is the digitalization a) Going to benefit us? a.2) supposed to benefit us? b) how are we going to access it - and stuff.
Whatever. I mean - even if the quantity of categories is low, their volume is a deep ocean.

And yea. Putting IT people under pressure to deliver a highly complex yet functional and bug-free end-product ... "what could go wrong?".

But so - if all we have is "do digitalization" - but nobody has any concept of how to do so free of issues - yea, ... I suppose it's life as usual.

What I mean is: I'm not convinced that we're as ready for it as we'd like to be. But whatever. Some good has come of it so far ... arguably. So whatever.
Uh ... what I try to say is: Without a clear idea of what we want - we get an unclear mess of stuff we'd rather not have!
I mean ... managing e-mails. Like, if e-mail is now used for important stuff like bills that you need to keep logged - yay! How fun! Seriously! I'm already frustrated by the mere thought of it! Messing around with software that doesn't work like it should ... which is like ... almost every piece of software these days ... for some godforsaken reason ... is a hell on its own. Especially if you have to resort to something as utterly impractical as Android or iOS on some smart phone. So, just ... invest like ... 2000 bucks for a new PC that also only does marginally improve the situation. "But you can already get a decent computer for 800 bucks"(???) - yea! Those people - I'd throw them straight to hell! And let some imps figure out who deserves a second look. It's ... more efficient I'd say.

And yea. If that's the outlook - I'd rather destroy every piece of "smart" tech we have these days. That'd solve it!

Digital media, Online shopping, Movies on Demand, Digital News - there sure is a lot of ... "good" to it - but ... yea, perhaps I'm old - but, the peace we had back then ... ! Browsing a lame ass Catalog for the 100th time, getting gaming news like ... once per month ... having the act of reviewing and rating a game be an actual profession that means something rather than having these "totally more accurate meta-scores we have these days" - I wanna throw it all up. I feel like I couldn't physically vomit as hard as I want to! How it affects the youth and the kiddies - alongside how screen-time is generally bad - that's a whole other topic.

I mean, this internet culture of today and single-use vapes are the two biggest issues we impose upon our youth. Add to that the sheer amount of imbeciles out there - or ... assholes, more to the point, that have a vocabulary of like 10 words (native tongue) and 3 (second language) - and can't even think as far as they can piss - (and if you're proud about not being part of that group, you're probably overlooking the fact that these exaggerations describe you perfectly to anyone who isn't part of that group. So yea, if I were you I'd probably feel insulted!)

But such - I'm afraid - are the responsibilities of a God. Like ... y'all got one another for the good times. Ours is to not bother but be very harsh and critical about all of your wrongdoings. Now, since classically or natively there's only one God who also is more than enough to handle all that - I don't really have to concern myself with these things, but ... maybe I've just gotten old enough or far enough to learn of those things now. Who knows? Don't mind me!

Sugarcoating

is possible. But to those with reason and a sense of responsibility ... there comes a point where they'll say that it's impossible. But sure ... if you'd want to ... you could. Sprinkle some chocolate flakes on a turd and call it a job well done. Fine. Hell it is for you then!

That's possibly one of the privileges of being a God. The ability to send to Hell whomever you want. Best you could hope for is a disagreement between God and I for I'd certainly be willing to bend to His will. But if He's like: "Hey hun, what you think?" - I suppose you're fucked!
Of course I can't wholesale guarantee it - but, you'd be pissed if I left you thinking that you'd be cool and then ... I'd have to be sorry. Which gives me an idea ... . But "luckily" I can't be arsed to pursue it. Yet. Or can I?

Well, now that I think about - Queerphobic Conservatives ... just ... don't worry! That's what the Bible says, doesn't it?
And the book tells you as much anyway! Right?

But seriously. I'm honestly a bit torn on this issue these days. I mean, what gets clear to me is that there's this growing mood of mutual destruction. Like ... everything is fucked - every possible solution puts us at a disadvantage - and Conservatives around the world are to blame! And I guess this is what it looks like. The days when ... . And there I was thinking that the Bible may be a little bit too much on all of the doomsaying.
And there are ... reasons to believe that the ending may yet be happier than it might seem. But ... I kind of want to respec into Retribution Pala. Tank and Healer are such ungrateful positions.
But yea - there are also a lot of smug healers. Which sucks - because ... if you were the healer you could just let them die. Which is kind of how that works. A vicious cycle. People are assholes. And yea, a lot of gamers certainly will go to hell - unless ... but ... that's unrealistic I guess - and I want to personally make sure that they are NOT having a great time there!

I mean - in as far as gaming is a decent way to polish some skills, develop a very dense and deep understanding of a wide variety of things - as well as honing your character to a good end ... I suppose it's just as easy to loose it all. Like it is with gambling, except you're in control!

"But it's just Videogames!" - yea, straight to Hell. The very bottom of it!
At least for Cheaters. Though I'm willing to extend the depths of Hell exclusively for them.

I made an interesting experience today that may serve as inspiration for things to ... do there.
Like, doing a repetitive task that requires you to use exactly those muscles that are sore ... all day long ... isn't fun. There are ways to negate the torture of it ... which is what I'll make sure isn't an option, of course!

So, is it justified of them to think of going out with a bang? To have some "REAL FUN" before entering an eternity of suffering? Well ... no! It's pointless. I mean - well. Obviously - every ounce of fun they have at the cost of another ... would have to be paid for tenfold ... at least. 10 Eternities for an ounce or something. And, given that the future is infinite - that isn't the problem. The problem is just ... there is no justification. I'm sure that ... that's like ... the whole point! Which is why there's possibly also a degree of exponential escalation to the equation. Because whatever asshole attitude you're honing - will have to be broken! And the measure would be a righteous person. Which means - breaking alone won't suffice!

And then there's that statement: "Where the worm won't die". Yay!

But yea. I'm not going to pretend that this isn't coping! Any belief in Hell is certainly somehow a coping mechanism. Whether it fuels your rage against God, or tempers your hatred for humanity. This belief is however also ... justified. At least in the abstract.
I mean - there sure are a lot of bad things that can happen that aren't really anyone's fault. So, they'd be God's fault - essentially - unless we'd have a chance to make it better but don't. So, in those bad things, a lot of projection can be happening. Like ... republican president fucks up, democrat president gets elected - and gets all the blame for what the republican did. As an anecdote of how ... "we're free to say whatever".

Like yea. Technically every person is good - even if they're consciously not, it's still ... good to them in some twisted way. No matter how hard they try to deny it. Obviously they're crazy ... but what can we do?
So, though we can understand ... that's in no way a practical standard. So ... yea ... . If you're still confused about 'the important truths' - yea, you might just be out of luck because I'm currently low on fucks to give and I have to save them for important things.

Anyway. At some point things can certainly at least look bad enough ... such that a belief in justice without Hell ... seems like a bad joke. And it probably is.

.... and so on and so forth.
Sorry ... that after all we're back to fire and brimstone. But ... you're fine! Right?
